7-Year-Old with Autism Ignites Audience at NBA Finals by Singing National Anthem

She was diagnosed as having Autism, and doctors did not even expect her to speak—let alone sing.

Gina singing at NBA finalsGina Marie Incandela is only 7, and in the first grade, but she has already wowed audiences with her talented and heartfelt rendition of the Star Spangled Banner during sports events—most recently during the NBA finals.

It may not seem all that unusual to have a child sing the National Anthem at a game, however, for Gina, singing in public is extraordinary. She was diagnosed as having Autism, and doctors did not even expect her to speak—let alone sing.

But sing she does, and passionately too. In honor of today being "Flag Day" in the US, I felt it was appropriate to highlight this young patriot and her stirring call to honor the stars and stripes.
