(Tennessee)—Roy Young, 66-year-old owner of Southern Hair, is a Christian barber who knows his Greek, having learned it proficiently in the 1970's from a former pastor. He teaches a New Testament Greek class at his church which he follows with a study of the Gospel of John.

Says Pastor Bob McRay of Donelson Church of Christ which Young attends: He cuts my hair, and I'll go and sit in the chair and we'll discuss Greek. There aren't many places you can go do that." (Photo: marketingbean.files.wordpress.com)

"It's a great tool to help you understand the Bible better and what God is saying,'' Young said. "...It shows you how you end up with what you have."

"The big motivation for me was finding out what the Lord said, and then I liked the game of learning it,'' he added. "Sometimes when I'm behind closed doors, I'd see these beautiful insights and want to shout it to the world."
