I am a music lover, and I've always encouraged my kids to take up an instrument.

Guitar Hero (glorified air guitar) wasn't quite what I had in mind. But when my son became somewhat of an "aficionado" on it, I found solace in the inherent exercise of eye-hand coordination.

Christian moms and dads will be happy to see a new version of the virtual guitar-based game known as: Guitar Praise.

According to the Digital Praise website, Guitar Praise – Solid Rock will feature more than 50 songs with 4 different levels of play, from such Christian artists as: Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Darrell Evans, Lincoln Brewster, Kutless, Newsboys and many others.

The game should be available in mid-September.
