Firemen Amazed that a Photo of Jesus the Shepherd and a Few Bible Pages are All that Remained from Completely Burned Home

(Port S. Lucie, Florida)—Last week, 53-year-old Cynthia Wright's home burned down. A widow, Cynthia was shocked when police and firefighters, combing through the debris after the fire, found a photo of Jesus tending sheep and a few pages from her late husband's Bible that the photo had been tucked in to.

According to a report in the Palm Beach Post, Willie Wright's Bible was so precious to him that he would "fuss at anyone" who left it out of the box he kept it in.

"His Bible was just sitting there around all that black muck of smoke and charring," said Wright. "He cherished that Bible. That just tore me up."
