Why Did the Country's Largest Christian University Block Ben Shapiro from Speaking on Campus?

Shapiro was slated to deliver a speech sometime this year at the Phoenix, Arizona, campus. But now administrators have told students associated with the Young America's Foundation (YAF), the organization that would have hosted Shapiro, they will not provide a venue for the speaker.

According to a press release from YAF spokesman Spencer Brown, GCU administrators told YAF allowing Shapiro to speak on campus "would not be good for the school long-term." They noted that the author's "approach instigates a divisive atmosphere" and competes with the school's "culture of unity, love, respect and having all student voices on campus heard"...
