This Brave 7-Year-Old Gets Epic Police Escort for Final Cancer Treatment

Liam Silveira, of Bangor, Maine, has been fighting against high-grade glioma for over a year. With the 7-year-old suffering from such a viciously aggressive form of the disease, doctors did not expect Silveira to live past April of this year—but miraculously, he proved them all wrong.

"Liam outliving the prognosis is a miracle," Silveira's mother, Devin, told ABC News.

As he continues to defy the physicians, this brave little guy has been keeping his eyes fixed on his lifelong goal of becoming a police officer.
