Tebow's alma mater announced the exciting news earlier this year, but he was officially inducted on Saturday, October 6th during the Florida-LSU game, reported Orlando Sentinel. At the honorary ceremony, Tebow became very emotional during his acceptance speech—giving all of the glory to God and expressing his gratitude to all of his supporters.

"First and foremost, like I always did here, I want to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ," the Christian sports star began.

"I want to thank my mom and dad for making me a Gator on Day 1. I want to thank all of my teammates and coaches who love me and had my back through everything, through thick and thin.
