Major Update on 7-Week-Old Baby Tragically Hit by Softball

The accident left McKenna with a skull fracture, brain bleeds, and seizures. She was heavily sedated for a long time. At the time, they said she was stable but critical.

The parents were at the game the infant became hungry. McKenna's father, Lee, had his back to the field while helping situate the newborn to nurse when a ball from another field was sent flying and struck the newborn as she fed. McKenna is...
