A Bride and a Stranger Caught in a "Comedy of Errors": Add Prayer Warriors and a Young Leukemia Patient and It's Positively Providential!

It just shows the amazing blessings that come from how we respond to mistakes.

Enter a bride-to-be named Sydney, who—while trying on wedding dresses—sent a photo of herself to a friend, asking for her opinion.

The problem was, she inadvertently sent the photo and request to a wrong number. In other words, to a total stranger.

That "stranger" was a man named Tony Wood; a father of six. His wife wasn't home at the time, but five of his children were. He showed them Syd's photo and text and asked them what they thought. When they gave a "thumbs up," Tony snapped a photo of them all and sent it back to Syd.

His text read: "I believe this message was intended for someone else. My wife isn't home, so I couldn't get her opinion, but the kids and I think you look stunning in your dress! You should definitely go with that one!"

Precious, right?

But it gets sweeter still. Mandi Miller, a friend of Syd's, was so moved by the Wood's reaction, she posted the story and photo on Twitter. Before she knew it, there were hundreds-of-thousands of likes and re-tweets.

Here, however, is where the story turns from "sweet" to positively providential.

It just so happened that Tony's son who is battling leukemia—6-year-old Kaizler—was in the hospital doing chemo and wasn't in the photo sent to Syd. When news reached Tony that his children's photo had gone viral on Twitter, he sent his own Twitter shout-out mentioning Kaizler.

It read: "Hello! Apparently you have made my children Twitter famous! My 2nd youngest (not pictured, he was at chemo clinic) has a FB page for his fight against Leukemia and one of our Prayer Warriors recognized the children! And before Tony knew it, the GoFundMe page for his son—shared by Miller—was inundated with (now) over $50,000 being donated to help with bills.

Tony's Twitter response to such generosity? He wrote: "I can't begin to thank everyone enough! This is a major hour of need for us and this blessing will help more than you know!"

As the Yahoo News report noted: "Told you, sweetest story you'll read all week."

Yep, and amen!
