The meeting took place at the Annaville Fire Department building, and though the location was originally 'undisclosed,' word on social media quickly spread, and soon a large crowd of mostly Trump supporters began lining the street outside.

As the President emerged following the briefing, and he saw the crowd of thousands that had formed, he reportedly stood on a ladder holding up a Texas flag. Trump said the storm damage is "historic, it's epic, but I tell you it happened in Texas and Texas can handle anything!"

According to a Fox News report, President Trump and the First Lady were headed to Austin, TX on Tuesday afternoon to "tour an emergency operations center and meet with state officials."

White House Press Secretary, Sarah Sanders told reporters onboard Air Force One that the trip's purpose was to "lay the foundation for what we know will be a long recovery effort."

The Trumps were to return to Washington, DC Tuesday evening.
