The International Day for the Unreached is a one-day event May 15 that aims to mobilize Christians to advocate for the billions of people around the world who have yet to hear the Gospel.

The day is not only special for its mission, but also because it coincides with Pentecost Sunday, which marks the Biblical event when the Holy Spirit fell upon the early Church and empowered Christ's followers to share the Gospel.

With this Biblical mandate in mind, The Alliance for the Unreached, the event's sponsors, is calling on and equipping Believers to carry the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

"With more than 2 billion people who haven't had a chance to meet Jesus, it's time for the Body of Christ to take a radical stand and say, 'This has to end in our generation,'" said Pastor Rick Warren of the Saddleback Church. "Join me in committing to pray, give, go, and advocate for those who need to know Christ by participating in the International Day for the Unreached." (Screengrab via CBN News)

One ministry is leading the call for Christians to pray for the salvation of the nations on March 15th. One Way Ministry's Prayercast initiative has created a profile for every nation in the world with specific instructions on how to pray for them. The prayer profile includes quick facts about each nation, a summary of the inhabitant's spiritual condition, and prayer points. Prayercast even provides a video for each country where Christians can pray along with a minister for the nation's unique needs.

To find out how to get involved in movement, you can follow the links to the ministries in this story.
