"Sheriff, If this is it, there's one moment I won't forget. 10th grade. Louisiana. At your quarterback camp..."

With rumors of Super Bowl 50's winning quarterback, Peyton Manning possibly retiring, a heartfelt letter was penned by Seattle Seahawks QB, Russell Wilson, addressed to the "Sheriff" (Peyton). (Photo via FoxSports.com)

Wilson begins by poetically describing some of the challenges Manning has had to endure on his often arduous journey to the top.

And then Russell notes his own moment of inspiration—as a 10th-grader—at one of Manning's own quarterback camps in Louisiana.

Writes Wilson:

...You inspired the kid in the green shirt. (Photo via The Players Tribune)

You inspired me to work hard. To be disciplined. To be respectful. To take notes.

You inspired me to love the process. To love the sweat. To love the tears.

But most of all...

You inspired me to love the game.

Thanks, Peyton.

If this is it,

Thanks.
