(Bamako, Mali)—Local media was reporting that "there were no more hostages by Friday afternoon," according to Fox News; but whether or not those held hostage by the Islamic terrorists were released, has yet to be confirmed. (Photo via Express.UK)

Sky News reports that U.N. Peacekeepers say they saw "at least 27 bodies" inside the Radisson Blu hotel, in Mali's capital.

According to the report, "at least five U.S. Defense Department personnel and one other American were freed."

It was also still not known if the jihadist attackers were still alive inside the hotel—they initially took over a hundred guests and hotel workers captive, and reportedly released a few after they could recite verses from the Koran.

The Islamic terrorists stormed the hotel on Friday morning with shouts of "Allahu Akbar," killing at least three people initially, and taking hostages.
