Do These Eerie Trumpet Noises Coming From the Sky Point to Christ's Return?

This strange sound has been heard around the globe for nearly a decade, but nobody has an explanation.

"And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet and they shall gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other." –Matthew 24:31

A report in the Daily Mail, noted that encounters with the noise has "caused some people to have vivid nightmares for days" following the event.
No doubt when the angels sound their trumpets, it will strike fear into the hearts of those unprepared to face eternity.

Aaron Taylor of Montana, who was able to catch the sounds on a recording on February 18, 2012, told the Daily Mail: "I was taking my daughter out for her daily exercise along with my dog. I started to hear the sounds… my dog perked her ears up and my daughter stopped in her tracks."

"The whole 'End of the World' thing popped instantly into my head," he continued. "What if this was one of those sounds?"

The Daily Mail report listed several possible theories to the sound ranging from tectonic plates grinding to atmospheric pressure, to "The Apocalypse and the Seven Trumpets of Heaven."

But NASA, which says the Earth has "natural radio emissions," notes that "if humans had radio antennas instead of ears, we'd have a remarkable symphony of strange noises coming from our own planet."

Still the natural speaks of the invisible and when the "Great and Terrible Day of the Lord" comes as a Thief in the Night, many will be thankful to hear the trumpet call.
