Tebow—who, since his exit from the NFL, has been working as a sports announcer, as well as doing segments for Good Morning America—has been keeping in shape and continuing to train, hoping he would still have a shot at playing again in the NFL.

Now it looks like his perseverance may be paying off.

Last month, eyebrows were raised when the Eagles brought in Tebow, along with others, for special workouts.

Eagles head coach, Chip Kelly told the NFL Network at the time, "I've always been a fan of Tim. We bring in a lot of players for private workouts, it's just he's the one that everyone keeps talking about. We brought in Terrelle Pryor for a workout and Thad Lewis in for a workout. When players are available for you to work them out, it's the same thing of going to the veteran combine or going to the super regional combine..." (Photo via Bloomberg.com)

In the QB line ahead of Tebow are first; Sam Bradford, then Mark Sanchez and Matt Barkley.

Only time will tell if former Heisman Trophy winner, Tim Tebow will see any action on the field for the Eagles, but some reports say his throwing accuracy has improved during his training, while away from the NFL.
