Her startling honesty is both refreshing and rare for a TV celebrity—although maybe not for a Robertson.

In the short video, Sadie describes the culture of setting "goals" in relation to wanting to be like someone else.

Says Sadie, "The reason I'm telling you this is because I want to tell you the reality of things. I struggle with jealousy and I struggle with comparing myself to other people. I struggle with worry, and I'm really hard on myself. I'm just like any other girl, I look in the mirror and pick out the flaw—it's embarrassing but it's true."

Sadie noted that she had begun "preaching about confidence" mainly because she struggles with having confidence herself, and maybe it would help her.

She cited wanting to "live original" because that's what she wanted to see others do, and not try to copy someone else.

"If you're seeking self-approval or human approval, you're never gonna reach your goal," said Sadie, "You can only reach it by God... you can only be the best YOU, you can be."

Sadie added that there are two things she found can come from comparing yourself to others "and they're both bad."

She said, "One is judging—judging whoever you're trying to compare yourself to, because whenever you're comparing yourself to someone else, you WANT to find the flaw... and the second thing is putting yourself down."
