(Ferguson, MO)—On Monday evening, St. Louis County prosecutor Robert McCulloch announced to waiting press members as well as protesters that officer Darren Wilson would not be indicted in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown.

"The duty of the grand jury is to separate fact from fiction," said McCullouch, according to media reports.

A statement from the family of Michael Brown was released shortly after the decision was announced, saying:

"We are profoundly disappointed that the killer of our child will not face the consequence of his actions.

While we understand that many others share our pain, we ask that you channel your frustration in ways that will make a positive change...
