"If all my dreams came true, I would somehow survive this."

(Portland, Oregon)—Brittany Maynard moved her family to Oregon—not to be surrounded by the majestic mountains and lush valley, but—to take advantage of Oregon's so-called "Death with Dignity Act," which made choosing to end one's life with medication legal in the state. (Photo via YouTube)

She was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer last January, shortly after getting married.

Brittany's story made headlines across the country and throughout the world, as her self-imposed countdown to November 2nd—the day she chose for taking her life—approached.

However, now the 29-year-old newlywed of one year says in a recently-posted video that it "doesn't seem like the right time" but that "it will come because I feel myself getting sicker."

In the video, Brittany describes her "worst seizures yet" she recently suffered, which landed her in the hospital temporarily.

Still, she says she feels "good enough" and is enjoying moments of "joy and laughter" with family and friends, though she laments having gained 25 lbs. due to the medication she is taking.

"So if Nov. 2nd comes along and I've passed, I hope my family is still proud of me and the choices I've made," said Brittany in her video posted on Wednesday. "But if Nov. 2nd comes along and I'm still alive, I know that we'll just still be moving forward as a family out of love for each other and that decision will come later."

Brittany's mother shared in the video, saying, "It's not my job to tell her how to live, and it's not my job to tell her how to die. It's my job to love her through it." (Photo via YouTube)

Perhaps the most hopeful words though, spoken by Brittany through tears in her new video were, "If all my dreams came true, I would somehow survive this."

I pray she will, and that the Lord would visit her with His healing, and loving touch; remove that cancer, and reveal Himself to Brittany.
