Faith Gives Hope for Journey with Cancer

The Elijah List : Oct 22, 2014

Pancreatic cancer is something that few people could face with peace, much less hope. Yet that is exactly how Sybil Redmon responded. Her faith in God kept her from giving in to the fear, and gave her the determination to fight the cancer.

Sybil and her husband believed it was important to seek God’s leading in choosing her treatment plan. Friends from church encouraged Sybil to look into Cancer Treatment Centers of America®. After praying about the decision, Sybil made the call and scheduled a consultation. As soon as she walked in the door, all her anxiety left.

One of the pastors there reached out to Sybil and her husband and has been with them through each step of treatment. This level of care has made a huge difference in her life.

She says, “I’m still fighting the battle, but at least I feel like God has a purpose and a plan for my life. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. There is hope.”
