Marthyman had been working with the Christian humanitarian relief organization, Samaritan's Purse; bringing desperately needed medical care to those infected with Ebola.

One of his colleagues, Dr. Kent Brantly, became infected with the disease and has been receiving treatment, along with another Samaritan's Purse worker.

A spokesperson for the organization told CTV, "Azaria is symptom-free right now and there is no chance of being contagious with Ebola if you are not exhibiting symptoms."
