In a nutshell, the outreach works by volunteers conducting a One Question Survey in the marketplace. That question is: "What hurts the most?"

"We don't claim to have all the answers," said Brian Fawcett from Who Cares?, but we represent a community which cares and [we] want to listen and respond to the issues that people are facing."

Added Fawcett, "The sad fact is that many people feel like no one cares about their problems. Tragically, a recent Red Cross survey revealed that as many as a third of the British adults feel they have no one to turn to in a crisis. The Church is a community that does care unconditionally for the suffering and plight of every person."
