Linda Seiler(Carbondale, IL)—Linda Seiler, an Assembly of God missionary, recently led a "Compassion without Compromise" outreach at Southern Illinois University aimed at reaching out in love and truth to the LGBT community—a group she is familiar with having been set free from transsexuality herself.

"I could sense the Spirit's leading and His peace," said Seiler. "I shared why I came to the conclusion same-sex attractions were not God's will for my life and how Jesus changed me from the inside out."

"The Lord gave me unusual grace to speak with compassion to the point that several of the pro-gay advocates commented on my kindness during the Q&A." noted Seiler. "In fact, they said my compassion was incongruent with my message because they expected me to come in a spirit of hate."

According to reporter Dan Van Veen of Assembly of God News, Seiler attributed her succession sharing her message to God and the prayer and fasting of Carbondale's Chi Alpha group leading up to the event.
