Boy Scouts of America Stands Strong for Traditional Values

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) have taken a stand this week for traditional values, not flinching on their policy against allowing openly homosexual members and leaders in the organization.

According to a OneNewsNow.com report, an 11-member committee, on Tuesday, made the decision. Deron Smith, national spokesman for the BSA, noted that they "came to the conclusion that this policy is absolutely the best policy for the Boy Scouts."

Family Research Council vice president, Rob Schwarzwalder, noted the "tremendous pressure" from activists trying to force a change in the BSA's policy, and applauded the fact that the committee members stood strong for traditional values.

"They deserve a major pat on the back," said Schwarzwalder. "They have defied the winds of political correctness and have said 'no' to a culture that wants us to accept as normative a pattern of sexual behavior which clearly violates God's intended design for men and women."
