In a recent Christian Post blog, Paul Petit reported that Dowd Simpson, the wife of Webb Simpson, the 26-year-old U.S. Open champion golfer, almost cost her husband the tournament when she accidentally got him a regular coffee instead of a decaf that morning.

Webb said, despite the caffeine, "I had a peace all day? I probably prayed more the last three holes than I've ever done in my life.

Petit notes that Webb, a devout Christian, "often tweets Bible verses and Christian quotes and attends the PGA Tour's Bible study group led by Rev. Larry Moody.
