The death toll now stands at 321, which is more than any other single atrocity since 9/11.

But some world leaders and the mainstream media, in general, seem to be trying to minimize the fact that these latest atrocities were committed by Muslims against Christians, as if to hide this fact from the Western public.

LifeSite has, therefore, launched a petition telling the UN Secretary-General, António Guterres, to call on the international community to "stand united against anti-Christian hatred," just as he did for Muslims after the recent attacks in New Zealand.

LifePetitions Campaign Coordinator Scott Schittl is really enthusiastic about this petition because, as he says: "This is one way we can truly connect with our Christian brothers and sisters in places like Sri Lanka, who are now suffering a real persecution."

"So far, the petition has garnered more than 15,000 signatures," Schittl continued. "This shows not only a great outpouring of solidarity from Western Christians to Christians now suffering in Sri Lanka, but also a rejection of the mainstream's constant denial of the very real and bloody persecution which Christians in the developing world have been suffering over the last 10 years"...
