A NATION OF CHILDREN IN NEED

The latest statistics are alarming. One out of every three children in Israel suffers from hunger.

It is not enough that these children are growing up at a moment when Iran is threatening their annihilation, rockets continue to fly right over their playgrounds, and many live with the psychological trauma of a nation always under possible attack. On top of that, they are going to bed hungry.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

This cannot continue. That is why the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem is teaming up with the Abraham’s Bread Feeding Centers to make a real difference for the children of Israel.

Along with my co-chair Dr. Jack Hayford, I am inviting you to do two simple things. Things that may seem insignificant but have great impact, and I believe are the clearest expression of our love for the people of Israel.

1. PRAY – Join with Believers around the world the First Sunday of October, (Oct. 4, 2015) in a united global response of prayer for the peace of Jerusalem. There are lots of great, free resources at www.daytopray.com

2. GIVE – Add feet to your prayers, by joining with us in sowing a seed into the Abraham’s Bread Feeding Centers, that provide hot meals for over 700 people every day! Young and old find hope and a sense of home as they are given the care they so desperately need.
