Be the fuel for a miracle

Do you know the story of the miracle?

Around 165 B.C.E. a group of Jewish leaders led by Judah Maccabee took back control of Jerusalem from invading kingdoms, cleansed the temple and sought to re-establish worship to the one true God. The symbol of their worship was the lighting of the lampstand or Menorah.

Jewish tradition says that they discovered there was only enough oil to keep the flame lit for one day, but miraculously the lamp continued to burn for 8 nights. This time of year, Jewish people all over the world celebrate this miracle in the festival of Hanukkah, rejoicing in God’s supernatural provision.

Today another miracle is needed in Israel... one that you can be part of... helping those in poverty.

THE NEED IS GREAT:

Today, there are millions in Israel (Jews, Arabs, and Christians) who need a miracle. From the elderly, to the unemployed, to children, and families, all suffering in poverty, with no way to purchase food, and without help they will starve.

1,754,700 Israelis live below the poverty line

817,200 children do not have enough food

440,000 families are impoverished
