Donald and Evelyn Knapp reportedly changed their business status to "religious corporation," though still remaining a for-profit business.

Due to this change, the American Civil Liberties Union of Idaho has announced it will not pursue a legal battle against the Hitching Post, because the new status likely exempts them from having to perform gay marriage ceremonies so long as they only perform "faith-based weddings"—no other services such as wedding cakes or flowers can be offered.

However, according to The Blaze report, the Hitching Post could still fall under Coeur d'Alene's non-discrimination ordinance unless they become a not-for-profit religious corporation.

But, for now, the ACLU appears to be leaving it alone.
