Dr. Kent Brantly is one of those two workers. His wife Amber and two children were not in the country with him when he came down with the disease.

The latest news on Brantly is good so far. Though not "Ebola free" yet, he was said to be "sitting up in his isolated hospital bed and working on his computer."

Kent Smith, an elder at South Central Alliance Church in Fort Worth, Texas, where Brantly and his family attend when they are in the states, told the Daily Mail that the Dr. Brantly has told friends: "God's going to deliver me from this, but even if He doesn't, I have lived my life for Him and I have no regrets."

Jason Brewington, a church member who worked with Brantly at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, said, "Kent said he gave his life to Christ long ago. It's His in life it's His in death."
