The company describes the film as "a drama fantasy set in war torn Britain in 1941 revealing the faith, friendship, and rivalry" between Tolkein and Lewis.

As noted in Entertainment, the two writers both taught at Oxford, fought in WWI, and preferred not to spell out their name.

Ironically, another film project is currently in the works from Fox Searchlight and Chernin Entertainment that is a biopic of Tolkein.

The release date for "Tolkein & Lewis" is set for April of next year.
