Could still be days before power is restored.

(East Coast, USA)?After massive storms barreled through several states on the US eastern seaboard last Friday, there are still some 2 million people from North Carolina to New Jersey left without electricity. (AP Photo/Cliff Owen)

To make matters worse, the east coast is experiencing a heat wave that saw temperatures exceed 100 degrees over the weekend. At least 22 deaths from the storm have been reported so far.

Power companies warn that it could still be days before electricity is restored; in some cases entire grids have had to be rebuilt.
