Young Andrew's Miraculous Recovery after Massive Stroke

(Knoxville, Tenn)—There is an inspiring story of a little boy's miraculous recovery posted on the CBN website.

Andrew Franklin thought at first it was just allergies that were bothering him one day, but when he suddenly became unresponsive, his terrified parents rushed him to the hospital.

After an MRI, it was discovered that Andrew had suffered a massive stroke, and the only recourse was "risky brain surgery" which was rarely performed on children. His stroke was on the left side of his brain—the dominant side for most people. His prognosis was very grim according to the report.

That's when Andrew's family and friends gathered to pray.

"Everybody in the room gathered and held hands in a humongous circle and just said a prayer of thanks. And anybody that wanted to pray could pray out loud," said Andrew's mother. "With each prayer that we told, that we said, it took the sadness and the fear away. It took it completely away and it was replaced with love and joy and happiness. After making it through surgery, Andrew spent two weeks—in and out of consciousness—in intensive care, and was still unresponsive....(more)
